JACOBABAD: The railway track of Dera Allahyar section of Jacobabad has been repaired and train service has resumed after 38 days, Geo News reported Wednesday.
According to sources, the train service had suspended on Dera Allahyar track after the rains and flooding in the area on September 8. Due to the closure of the track, the train service from Quetta to interior parts of the country and vice versa had suspended. However, the track was repaired and the service will resume today where the Bolan Mail will arrive in Quetta from Karachi at 3:30 pm.
The departure of trains from Quetta to other parts of the country will start from Thursday (tomorrow). Rawalpindi bound Jaffar Express will leave at 9 am while Bolan Mail will leave at 11 am for Karachi.
The train passengers are relieved after the resumption of service.
