KARACHI: At least three people were gunned down in separate incidents of firing in metropolis on Wednesday morning.

According to rescue sources, a person was gunned down when unidentified armed men opened fire at him in Shadman area of UC 8. He sustained multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot. The deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico- legal formalities.

He was identified as Shafqat Nasir son of Sajad, 45, and was resident of Buffer zone block: 16. The victim was employee of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.

Meanwhile, another person lost his life when unidentified armed men opened fire at him near Imam Bargah in Qasba colony leaving him seriously injured. The victim was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased was identified as Ali Raza and was resident of Qasba colony.

A body was also found from University Road.
