Kalat: Prayer leader gunned down

KALAT: Unknown assailants shot and killed prayer a leader here on Sunday, Geo News reported.

Police said Imam Ziaullah, who was the prayer leader of Civil Hospital mosque, came under attack while he was on his way home after leading Namaz-e-Isha (the fifth prayer of the day).

He was rushed to the hospital, where medics tried to revive him but his injuries proved fatal. He was later pronounced dead.

Police have registered a case against the unknown attackers who successfully made off after murdering Ziaullah.
