Polling in SCBA elections begin

LAHORE: Polling in elections of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) started Wednesday morning all across the country, Geo news reported.

Asma Jahangir group’s Israrul Huque Mian, Hamid Khan group’s Ahmad Ovais and Barrister Zafrullah are contesting for the coveted post of SCBA president, while one vice president from each of the four provinces, one secretary, one finance secretary and 16 members of the executive committee would be elected.

SCBA elections’ polling has started in Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Bhawalpur, Abbotabad, Sukkur and Karachi.
