PESHAWAR: Deputy Chief de mission US Embassy Richard Hoagland said on Thursday that his country was taking keen interest in construction of roads and power generation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and adjacent Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Geo News reported.

Speaking to media after his visit to Peshawar Museum, Hoagland said that he discussed law and order situation in KPK and FATA during his meetings with the governor and the chief minister.

Answering a question regarding military offensive in North Waziristan, he said that the issue did not come under discussion during his meetings with the governor and the chief minister.
