Manmohan has strong desire for Pakistan visit: Meira Kumar

ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the Lok Sabha, lower house of the Indian Parliament, Meira Kumar has said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has strong desire to visit Pakistan, Geo News reported on Sunday.

Speaking to Hamid Mir in Geo News talk show Capital Talk, she said she could not give the exact date for Mr Singh’s visit to Pakistan.

She felicitated National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza for becoming Chairperson of the South Asian Association for Regional Corporation (SAARC) Speaker Conference.

Kumar told that she liked Pakistani poets Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Ahmed Faraz and Kishwar Naheed. Her interview would be aired on Monday at 8:05 PM on Geo News.
