KARACHI: President Awami National Party (ANP), Shahi Syed Sunday accused the Sindh government of exercising expedience in dealing with the issue of law and order.
Talking to media persons here at Mardan House, Shahi Syed said mere statements cannot bring peace to Karachi, adding leaders and activists of ANP were being targeted in the metropolis.
"The Sindh Government is not acting upon the court orders …. it lacks resolve towards maintenance of peace," the ANP leaders said and demanded that names and political affiliation of the criminals released on parole be made public.
He called for brining to task the elements involvement in the murders of ANP workers besides taking an indiscriminate action against the criminals involved in bank heists, drug trafficking and target killings.
