8 dead, 40 injured as bus overturns at Muridke

SHEIKUPURA: Eight passengers were killed and forty wounded, as a passenger bus overturned on Narowal Road near Chora Rajputan on Friday here, Geo News reported.

Police said that a passenger bus was on way from Faisalabad to Shakargarh, when on Narewal Road of Muridke avoiding to run over a motorcycle it went tumbling to fall at a distance, killing eight passengers and wounded forty.

Rescue teams have arrived at the scene of incident and the injured have been shifted to the local hospital. Police arriving at the site have stated investigation.
