Security forces kill 5 militants in South Waziristan

Wana: Security forces launched operation in Sarokai Tehseel of Sounth Waziristan tribal region on Wednesday, killing at least five militants, Geo News reported.

Sources in the security forces said that at least five militants were killed and six others injured in the operation. The traffic on Wana-Tank road remained suspended due to the operation.

The sources said that the large-scale operation was conducted in the area after a surge in militant attacks on security check-posts.
