LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif expressed his hope that despite several ills prevalent in the country, the nation will soon witness good times, Geo News reported Thursday.

CM Shahbaz Sharif was addressing the students here at Government College University today and said that when he came into power, corruption was in full swing. Baab Pakistan and Bank of Punjab were battling the corruption issues.

He said that nothing has changed in the past 65 years but he hoped that with untiring efforts, the nation will regain its stature in near future.

Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was also present on the occasion and linked good governance with the rule of law, saying impartiality of the government would lead to establish rule of law.

Addressing the students at GCU, the Bihar CM said that implementation of law led to pursue the cases against criminals and ultimately convictions were also seen.
