ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister for Petroleum, Dr Asim Hussain Thursday set aside the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority's (OGRA) proposal for hiking the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

Talking to Geo News, Dr Asim Hussain termed the proposal seeking an increase in CNG price as unjustified and is, therefore, unacceptable.

OGRA had put forth the proposal seeking to jack up the price of CNG in Region-1 by Rs10.56 per kilogram and by Rs9.60 per kg in Region-2.
