MQM for new delimitation of constituencies across country

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar has reiterated that new delimitation of constituencies should be carried out across the country, Geo News reported.

Talking to Geo News, Dr. Farooq Sattar said the issue of voters list exists in every part of the country, therefore, new delimitation should be carried out in all the areas.

New delimitations on the basis of complaints from a single party is unfair, he said.

Sattar said differences and reservations of MQM are based on principles. He hoped that ECP would address their complaints.

MQM leader further said the decision of the apex court, pertaining to new delimitations, is being reviewed, adding MQM wants real democracy in the country where rule of law and constitution is followed.
