PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to get a bill passed from provincial assembly regarding formation of Private Schools Regulatory Authority in next session.

Meanwhile, Private Schools Association announced that the schools would remain shut on Saturday against the government’s decision.

Briefing the media here, provincial minister of education Sardar Hussain Babak said that the educational institutes would not only be registered but also monitored as per bill.

The provincial government said that they are focusing to promote education in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that they have built 8 universities and 29 colleges during five-year term.

However, Private Schools Association in on the view that the government didn’t take the association into confidence regarding formation of the regulatory authority.
