President’s principal secretary made Federal Ombudsman

ISLAMABAD: Principal Secretary of President Asif Ali Zardari, Salman Farooqi has been appointed Federal Ombudsman (Wafaqi Mohtasib), Geo News reported.

Talking to ‘Geo News’ correspondent Tahir Khalil, Salman Farooqi said he would serve conditionally for two months without pay, adding a proper system will be chalked out to redress the complaints of masses.

He said 75,000 applications are pending in the national institution.
