KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh carried out a targeted action in Korangi area of the city, arresting over 15 suspects on Sunday, Geo News reported.

Acting on a tip off over 1000 Rangers personnel carried out house-to-house search with the help of sniffer dogs in Bilal Colony area of Korangi, recovering forty arms. The entry and exit points of the locality were blocked during the operation.

A spokesman for the paramilitary force said that the Rangers have also arrested two- dozen suspects, including a target killer and an arms supplier, from Sarjani and Ghas Mandi areas.

He said that the suspected targeted killer was affiliated with a political party. The spokesman added that a Sub-Machine Gun (SMG) an MP-5 rifle and 19 other fire arms with Satellite phone and telescope were recovered from the possession of suspects during the operation.
