MARDAN: Jamaiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that he did not want enforcement of Shaira law in the country at gunpoint.

Speaking at a conference, the Maulana said that those who had been imposing anti-Sharia laws were also criminals.

He claimed that the nation would fee a pleasant change in the next general elections. Fazl said that it was JUI-F, which barred the government from passing resolutions of its choice in the parliament.

He said that his party was ready to enter an electoral alliance on the basis of its principles.

The Maulana alleged that Pakistan’s economy was being controlled by the World Bank and the IMF.
