PESHAWAR: Deputy general secretary of Jamiat Ulma e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mufti Abdul Shakoor Sunday warned Jamat e Islami (JI) not to repeat the past by being part of a campaign to divide the Islamic vote, Geo News reported.
In a statement issued here, Mufti Abdul Shakoor accused JI of being solely responsible for present government's rise to power in KPK and the subsequent imposition of 'American agenda'.
He said the JI's decision to boycott the previous elections resulted in a disadvantage to the religious forces and favored the secular ones, he added.
If JI or any other political party competed against Muttahida Majlis e Amal (MMA) or allied with other forces, would be called an agent of America and Israel.
