Give security to Qaimkhani murder case witnesses: Ghauri

KARACHI: Vice Chairman of Muhajir Qaumi Movement (MQM-H) Shamshad Ghauri Monday demanded of the government to protect the witnesses in the murder cases of Zafar Qaimkhani and other leaders, Geo News reported.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club, Shamshad said for the first time in the past decade the police have launched an FIR against the real killers of MQM-H’s workers. "But the coalition partners under the patronage of Sindh government are pressurizing police to withdraw it," he added.

He said the act of transferring the murder cases of Zafar Qaimkhani and other leaders from Shrafi Goth police station to Special Investigating Unit (SIU) was based on ill will.
