Policeman among two killed in Karachi

KARACHI: Two persons including a policeman were gunned down in the on-going violence in the metropolis, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to police, unknown gunmen killed ASI Mukhtiar Ghuman in Ittehad Town area of Baldia Town while he was on his way to Saeedabad Police Station on motorcycle.

In another incident, unidentified attackers targeted Dr Zubair in Zia Colony of Korangi at his clinic where he died after receiving bullet shots.

Chairman of Bengali Action Committee Shiekh Feroz told that Dr Zubair was the joint secretary of the committee’s youth wing.

On the other hand, angry mob pelted stones and blocked the road in Orangi Town in protest after the funeral prayer of the victims who were killed on Tuesday.
