Transporters’ strike: PM forms committee to resolve issue

ISLAMABAD: Taking notice of goods transporters' strike, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has formed a two-member committee to resolve the issue, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

According to sources the issue was raised by MQM leader and federal minister Dr Farooq Sattar during cabinet meeting chaired by the prime minister.

The committee comprises federal minister Babar Khan Ghouri and state minister Abbas Khan Afridi.

The premier directed both the members to reach Karachi and resolve the issue immediately.
