No-trust motion against Balochistan Assembly speaker likely

QUETTA: Members of the Balochistan Assembly have decided to table a no trust motion against Speaker Aslam Bhutani, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

According to sources, as many as 22 lawmakers have signed the resolution and were busy in consultation over the agenda of the assembly session.

The sources said that the session was delayed for couple of hours over the issue. Mr Bhutani, who had refused to chair any session of the house following a Supreme Court order, is abroad.

He had said that chairing the session would be against the Constitution and the law.
