TORKHAM: Nineteen Pakistani labourers were tortured and beaten up by the Afghan security men at Pakistan-Afghanistan border area of Torkham Saturday that resulting in closing the border, Geo News reported.
According to security forces, 29 Pakistani workers were returning from Afghanistan and were intercepted by the Afghan security men near Kabul. The Afghan security personnel checked their passports and then tortured 19 labourers after which they were sent to Torkham border.
The poor victims reported the incident to the Pakistani security forces at the border area after which the Torkham border was closed in protest.
