KARACHI: Nine more people have lost their lives in Karachi on Tuesday as spree of violence continued unabated in the post city, Geo News reported.

Police said unidentified armed men shot dead Ghulam Haider and injured another man in Orangi Town No.5. The deceased is said to activist of Ahl-e-Sunnat Jamaat.

Police recovered a body of man from Old Haji camp. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.

In another incident, unknown miscreants shot dead Shahzaib in Defence 5 area.

Police have also recovered body of an unidentified man from Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block-VI.

Meanwhile, Orangzaib Farooqui, leader of Ahle-e-Sunnat Jamaat, was injured while his three guards and a driver were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire on his vehicle in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
