Rain increases intensity of cold in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A new spell of rain has dropped the mercury in Peshawar and adjoining cities, Geo News reported on Friday.

According to met department, 11mm of rain was recorded in the last 24 hours in Peshawar while the temperature has dropped to 14 degrees in the city. More rain is expected in the next 24 hours.

Rainwater has accumulated in the low-lying areas, causing problems to the pedestrians. Gas pressure has also reduced in different areas surrounding Dilla Zaak Road and Charsadda Road that has increased difficulties for the residents.
