PESHAWAR: Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah has reiterated that the government would complete its tenure, Geo News reported.
Talking to media in Peshawar on Sunday, Khursheed Shah said government tenure would end on March 16 and it will not stick to power a single day after that.
The minister said dialogue is the only way to resolve all issues. He was of the view that negotiations could only be held with Taliban if any of their leaders come forward for the purpose. He added that none of them has made such a move yet.
Shah said talks could not be held with the killers of humanity.
He said they respect Tahir-ul-Qadri and would not halt his Long March.
Shah further said after the 18th amendment, an independent election commission had been set up, adding decision on caretaker prime minister would be made after consultations with all the parties.
