Motorway closed due to dense fog

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad-Lahore Motorway has been closed for traffic as thick fog covered federal capital and its adjoining areas.

According to the Motorway Police, due to the dense fog in Chakri and Kallar Kahar Interchange among adjoining areas, the motorway has been closed for traffic.

The police said that the traffic is being shifted to GT Road.

The motorway would be reopened for vehicular traffic after visibility improvement, the Motorway Police added.
