Punjab Assembly condemns plots against democracy

Lahore: The Punjab Assembly on Thursday unanimously adopted a resolution, condemning conspiracies against the democracy, Geo News reported.

The resolution tabled by PPP’s Zulfiqar Gondal and Shaukat Basra called on all the political forces in Pakistan to be united against conspiracies aimed at sabotaging election.

Denouncing bids for delaying election by unelected individuals, the resolution called on the Election Commission of Pakistan and the federal government to ensure election without any fear.
