Issuance of weapons license to be banned in Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh government has decided to put ban on issuance of weapon license on the recommendation of Election Commission and notification in this regard is likely to be issued today.

According to the Sindh Home Department sources, the ban would be imposed on issuance of both prohibited and non-prohibited bore licenses.

The sources said that issuance of computerized license would also be stopped.

More than 0.4 million licenses have been issued in Sindh during the past four and a half years, the sources added.
