Unannounced gas load shedding irks Karachiites

KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company has begun unannounced gas load shedding in different parts of the metropolis, adding to the miseries of people, Geo News reported Friday.

According to reports, residents of Gulshan-e-Mamaar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Sakhi Hassan and other adjoining areas had to buy breakfast from hotels due to the gas load shedding.

The reports said that areas of Defence and Clifton were without the utility from 10:00 am to 5:00 in the evening.

Women told Geo News that they were unable to prepare breakfast for their families while running a geezer had become a dream in this winter.
