Ajmal, Hafeez top ICC rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan’s Muhammad Hafeez jumped to number one spot in ICC ODI ranking for all rounders while off-spinner Saeed Ajmal also occupied the top spot for bowlers, Geo News reported Monday.

According to ICC rankings issued after the end of the Pak-Indo series, both the Pakistani players strengthened their positions with Hafeez securing 428 points in all-rounder ranking while Bangladesh’s Shakibul Hassan remained at the second position.

Saeed Ajmal jumped to number one in ICC bowlers ranking while Hafeez grabbed the second position.

There was no Pakistani batsman in the top ten ICC players with Umar Akmal plunging to number 16.
