Pakistan tour: India rejects PCB proposal

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in (BCCI) has dismissed Pakistan’s proposal about India’s visit to the neighboring country, Geo News quoted Indian media as saying on Monday.

According to an Indian newspaper, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman was hopeful of holding Ashes like series between India and Pakistan. However, his Indian counterpart has refused to accept the proposal.

The newspaper said that the BCCI had already informed the PCB that it was not in favour of their team visit to Islamabad amid precarious security situation.

The Indians have also rejected PCB proposal of holding Pakistan home series in India. The paper added that the BCCI had also rejected to play at a neutral venue.
