Karachi: Manghopir cops repel attack on station

KARACHI: An attack on Manghopir police station on Monday evening was repulsed after cops retaliated with full force, Geo News reported.

According to sources unknown attackers, who were armed to the teeth, opened fire on a Nato supply truck parked outside the police station, but fled away as soon as the cops fired back.

SHO Manghopir Police Station, Nasir Mehmood, told media that the gunmen most probably wanted to target the Nato truck.

No casualties were reported.
