ISLAMABAD: The Hazara community, Majlis Wahdat ul Muslameen, political activists and the civil society continue their sit-in as protest against the killings in Quetta at Faizabad Chowk at the junction of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The protestors have announced that the protest will continue till the dead bodies of the Quetta martyrs are laid to rest.

A procession was also taken out from the National Press Club Islamabad, which ended in a sit-in protest at the Super Market.

The protestors have blocked the Rawalpindi-Islamabad expressway and there are heavy traffic jams at Murree Road, IJP Road and many roads leading to the airport.

During the sit-in, people prayed and lit candles in memory of the Martyrs of the Alambardar incident and raised slogans against the Governor and chief minister of Balochistan.
