QUETTA: In what appeared to be the first move following the governor’s rule to improve law and order, Section 144 has been imposed in Balochistan, Geo News reported.

According to a statement, pillion riding, displaying arms and vehicles with tinted glasses have been banned across the province under Section 144.

Governor Balochistan has also increased compensation to Rs I million for each family of the victims of Quetta blasts from Rs400, 000. The compensation for injured have also been raised to Rs200,000.
