QUETTA: Law enforcement agencies’ officials have taken into custody five CID officers including SP on the charges of being involved in kidnapping for ransom, Geo news reported Sunday.

Sources said that the law enforcing agencies were tipped off that the kidnapped person Abdul Quddus from Dalbadin was being kept at the CID police station, while the alleged ransom money paid for his release has just been paid.

Following this information, the law enforcing personnel raided the police station and taken into custody five officers including CID SP Tariq Manzoor, DSP Qutub Bilal and two SHOs, who later were shifted to unknown place for interrogation.
