ISLAMABAD: A proposal to make Hussain Haroon caretaker prime minister has come forth, Geo News reported Tuesday.

Sources said that President Asif Ali Zardari has called for a meeting of the allied parties for consultations over the formation of the caretaker government and preparations for the elections.

Sources said that the proposal to make Hussain Haroon caretaker PM would also be mulled over.
