QUETTA: Soon after a terror bid was foiled in Quetta, three suspected persons were held from Wehdat Colony while arms were also seized from their possession Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According to Frontier Constabulary (FC) spokesman, a search operation was conducted in Gulshan Bareech area of Quetta during which each and every house was searched and three suspects were apprehended.

Two rifles, one pistol, 400 rounds along with nine magazines were also recovered. FC forces are still continuing the operation.

The FC, earlier in the morning, recovered 25 kilograms of explosives from a car in Quetta.

Tthe vehicle was seized near Baleli checkpost from which 100 detonators, ball bearings and wires were also recovered and the city was fortunately saved from a probable terror attack.
