Voters’ verification date extended in Karachi

KARACHI: Date for verification of voters’ lists in Karachi has been extended by 10 days and now it will continue till February 11, 2013, Geo News reported.

According to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) sources, the date for door-to-door verification of voters’ lists has been extended by 10 days. Earlier, the date was expiring on Feb 01.

Under the apex court orders, voters’ lists verification processes is underway in the financial hub with the assistance of army.
