KARACHI: At least five more people fell prey to ongoing wave of violence in different parts of Karachi on Friday, Geo News reported.

Armed men shot dead a man identified as Kamran in Orangi Town Sector 11-1/2 and injured two others including a woman.

Unknown assailants gunned down a man near Liaquatabad Post Office and injured another. The deceased and injured were identified as Ali Mehdi and Abbas respectively.

A body was found in Cattle Colony in Landhi whose identity was yet to be ascertained.

A man was killed near KMC workshop when armed men opened fire. A political activist identified as Nayyar Shahab was shot dead in Orangi Town. Unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle near Sohrab Goth, killing one and injuring another.

The slain and injured were identified as Mudassir and Wajahat Abbas respectively.
