Prime Minister chairs PPP meeting

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf is presiding over a special meeting of senior leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) here on Wednesday.

Sources said that those who were attending the meeting included Nazar Gondal, Rana Farooq, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Khurshid Shah and Manzoor Wattoo.

The sources said that the meeting discussed political situation prevailing in the country, seat adjustment with the allied parties in the upcoming general elections and situation emerging after the imposition of governor rule in Balochistan.

The meeting was also discussing issues related to installing caretaker setup and contacts with other political parties in this regard.
