Baldia factory owners, other accused granted bail

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday granted bail to the Baldia factory owners Shahid Bhaila, Arshad Bhaila and others accused in the tragic Baldia factory fire case here, Geo News reported.

Shahid Bhaila and Arshad Bhaila have been granted bail against a surety of Rs. 100,000 each, while the other accused for Rs. 200,000 each.

Earlier, a murder case was registered against the owners and other members of the management of apparel factory, which witnessed the worst industrial disaster in the history of Pakistan, leaving 259 factory workers charred to death.
