Road mishap claims eight lives in Kuchlak

QUETTA: Eight people including three children of a family were killed in a road accident near Kuchlak in Quetta, Geo News reported reported.

Police said Abdussalam, resident of Satellite Town, with his family was going to Chaman in a taxi car to attend a marriage ceremony. The speedy car collided with a truck in Kuchlak area, killing three people including car driver Gul Jan on the spot.

The injured were rushed to local hospital where five including three children succumbed to injuries.

The bodies have been transferred to Civil Hospital Quetta.

The truck driver managed to flee.
