ISLAMABAD: Neither any torture marks were found on the body of NAB investigation officer Kamran Faisal nor was he poisoned, according to a report prepared by the Punjab Forensic Science Agency.

Geo News on Wednesday reported that Islamabad police have received the report from the forensic lab according to which there was resemblance in DNA samples collected from Faisal’s body and the rope which he used to hang himself from the ceiling fan of his room.

The federal police have submitted the report to medico-legal officer concerned and the team, which carried out postmortem on Faisals’ body. The team would handover final report to police within 24 hours after reviewing the forensic report.
