Rawalpindi: Outlaws kill 2 during search operation

RAWALPINDI: Unknown desperadoes holed-up in their den opened fire on policemen during a search operation here killing two including a Elite Force commando, Geo News reported Thursday night.

Sources said a number of police pursuing a crackdown against outlaws came under a sniper fire in Katarian, a suburb of Rawalpindi. The shooting claimed the lives of a cop and a citizen.

“We have lost one of our best men in the surprise attack”, the police said.
