LAHORE: Punjab government spokesman, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed Monday said the 'governments of Pakistan People's Party' have issued 11 arms licenses to Malik Ishaq and his two sons and demanded of the Interior Minister Rehman Malik to probe the issue instead of hurling misleading allegations on Punjab government.

Pervaiz Rasheed said the governments of PPP in Sindh and Balochistan had issued 11 arms licenses of prohibited bores to Malik Ishaq and his two sons, Malik Usman and Muhammad Haq Nawaz.

He said the Punjab government had issued any such license to them and instead reminded the Federal government repeatedly to stop issuing licenses of prohibited bores.

Rasheed claimed that it was the government of Shahbaz Sharif in Punjab that arrested Malik Ishaq on two occasions in the past.
