KARACHI: Chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Karachi on the invitation of PML-F leader Pir Pagara Tuesday, Geo News reported.
Talking to the reporters at Karachi airport, Nawaz Sharif told that he has come on the invitation of Pir Pagara, and will hold talks over cooperating with the Functional League in the upcoming elections.
PML-N chief alleged that some parties included in the government are planning to rig the elections. He said that everything is happening with consent in Sindh politics and the people of the province are not so naïve that they could not get the air of it.
He continued saying that everything will become evident after few days.
Addressing the situation in Karachi, Nawaz Sharif said that Karachi has been made hostage and asserted that his party will work to restore peace in Karachi that was once known as the city of lights. He said that free and fair elections should be held and Karachi should be freed from criminals regardless of any greed to win seats.
PML-N leader also alleged that political parties are getting their people hired and even retired workers are also being appointed.
It is expected that the two leaders will discuss political situation, interim set up, particularly in Sindh, and to discuss about the caretaker government.
