MQM MPAs get opposition benches in SA

KARACHI: Speaker Sindh Assembly has allotted opposition benches to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPAs, except its provincial ministers, Geo News reported.

The ministers were not allotted the opposition benches as their resignations have not yet been approved.

Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khoro said that opposition benches have been allotted to MQM MPAs except ministers.

It may be noted here that due to some differences with ruling Pakistan People’s Party, MQM had parted ways with it and announced to sit in opposition.
