Dialogue process with Taliban being initiated today: Fazl

ISLAMABAD: The dialogue process with Taliban, as per the decisions of All Parties Conference (APC), is being initiated today (Friday), said JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Geo News reported.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House here, Fazlur Rehman said they would meet Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with Jirga members today, adding consultations with the Governor are important as he is the head of FATA region.

The military would also support the decision that would be made with national consensus, he said.

Commenting on meeting with US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson, the JUI-F chief termed it successful and said they discussed law and order situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
