Govt to rebuild flats, shops destroyed by Abbas Town bomb: Commissioner

KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hashim Raza Monday pledged that the Sindh Government will rebuild the flats and shops destroyed by the yesterday's high-intensity bomb explosion in Abbas Town.

Talking to media persons, the Karachi Commissioner reiterated that the government will extend Rs1.5 million each to the bereaved families and Rs1 million each to the injured. In this connection, a committee has already been formed, he added.

He said the aforementioned committee will assess the damage and present its report to the government.

The Commissioner further said that a complaint cell has also been set up for the Abbas Town victims.
