ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spearhead, Imran Khan, has once again vowed to whip up peace in terror-torn Pakistan within 90 days into power provided his party won a mandate enough to form government, Geo News reported.
“If PTI is elected to the helms of the state, it will pacify Pakistan in three months on top of breaking the begging bowl”, said Khan talking to media here on Monday.
He also reiterated his claimed to wipe out the menace of corruption in that short period, which his critics say is next to impossible.
Hitting at the incumbent government's toadyish attitude, he said the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline was hitting snags only because America did not want to see it happening.
To a question, he held the rulers responsible for the violence, which the sectarian militant groups have now escalated to the level of warfare.
In the end he said, Pakistan would stand witness to a historic tsunami at Minar-e-Pakistan on Pakistan Day, March 23.
